Devlog 1: Porting PP to Windows


If I want to distribute Pumpkin Planet on Steam, I need to port the game to Windows. I toyed with rebuilding the game from the ground up in C#, the UI-heavy language with which I am most familiar. However, I remember reading a forum post about Golden Krone Hotel, where the developer noted that the game was built in HTML5 and packaged for Windows using a package called "Electron". I spent the better part of my free time over the weekend wrangling electron in a new git repo, and I finally have PP running on Windows!
